ON PAUSE SPRING SEMESTER 2009 DUE TO RE-ORGANIZATION OF PROGRAM

Project Home Repair provides free home repair services for low-income and elderly residents of Montgomery County and the surrounding community. Projects are accepted based upon referrals or applications. Local social service agencies and people in need of assistance submit home repair referrals. PHR crew leaders then prioritize the work. Unless there is a case of extreme emergency, jobs are done in the order they are received. Repair projects range from large roofing or flooring jobs to smaller work such as weathering windows, painting, or repairing handrails. PHR crews work on weekends.

Tools and experience are not necessary. Although, experienced volunteers are always helpful and welcome.
