YMCA Alternative Spring Break

Are you interested in traveling the country and helping out local communities? This is your chance to make that difference you have been trying to make. The Alternative Spring Breaks Program at the YMCA at Virginia Techs gives you everything you need in order to step out of the box and make a difference in the world. You will have the chance to lead a group of fellow peers to different places around the country to places around the world.

Have you been looking for a new adventure? Is there some place you want to go visit? Why not lead a trip to this sought out destination while at the same time helping out the local community with various types of service. We are looking are enthusiastic students to lead trips all over the country. You can return to a previous host community or look elsewhere and start up a new trip with a new host. The opportunities are endless.
