The YMCA Alternative Spring Breaks (ASB) Program at Virginia Tech is going through a time of change. The ASB program introduced the first Thanksgiving Break trip in Fall of 2004 and now is trying to set up a stable bi-yearly international program, along with introducing Alternative Weekends in the Spring of 2005, and is trying to set up a scholarship fund. The ASB program is trying to gather funds to create scholarship money to help students who want to attend these trips but do not have the funds to cover the fees. If you would like to help make a contribution to this scholarship, giving a student the experience of a life time, please contact us at the information provided below. All donations are entitled to a tax-deduction in accordance with the IRC Section 501 (c)(3). (Federal ID 540-50-5987).
